Job Description:

The HR Generalist plays a key role in managing various HR functions within the organization. This position is responsible for providing HR support to employees and management, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies, and contributing to the overall success of the HR department.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:

    • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
    • Coordinate new employee onboarding, including orientation and training.
  2. Employee Relations:

    • Address employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
    • Mediate and resolve employee disputes and conflicts.
  3. Performance Management:

    • Support performance review processes and provide input on employee performance.
    • Assist in developing and implementing performance improvement plans when necessary.
  4. Benefits and Compensation:

    • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
    • Assist with compensation analysis and adjustments.
  5. Compliance and Policies:

    • Ensure company compliance with federal and state employment laws.
    • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures.
  6. Training and Development:

    • Identify training and development needs and assist in the design and implementation of training programs.
  7. HR Data and Reporting:

    • Maintain HR records and databases.
    • Prepare HR reports and analytics for management.
  8. Safety and Wellness:

    • Promote employee safety and well-being initiatives.
    • Assist with health and safety programs and compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in HR roles or related areas.
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications
