Technical Sales Engineer

Location: Lahore

Position Purpose

The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving solar sales by identifying new

opportunities, engaging clients, conducting site assessments, preparing technical and

financial proposals, and ensuring successful deal closure and handover to the deployment

team.

Reporting Line

Reports to: Director Sales / Head of Sales

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation

 Identify and develop new leads/business opportunities through cold calling, market

research, networking, channel partners and personal referrals

 Build and maintain a strong and active sales pipeline for commercial and residential

Client Meetings & Coordination

 Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations

 Understand client energy requirements and propose suitable solar solutions

Site Surveys

 Perform site surveys to assess technical feasibility

 Evaluate roof space, electrical infrastructure, and installation constraints

Initial Design & Feasibility

 Prepare preliminary solar system designs using tools such as SketchUp / Helioscope

 Conduct feasibility analysis based on site data and client requirements

Proposals, BOQ & ROI Analysis

 Develop detailed proposals including system design, BOQ, and cost estimates

 Perform ROI analysis and clearly communicate financial benefits to clients

Deal Closing & Handover

 Close sales through effective negotiation and follow-ups

 Share finalized design, documentation, and project details with the deployment team for

execution

Client Relationship Management

 Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients

 Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and generate repeat/referral business

Sales Targets & Performance

 Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth

 Actively manage and update the sales pipeline to plan sales targets

Reporting & KPIs

 Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and conversions

 Provide weekly and monthly reports to track KPIs and performance

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s in Engineering (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical)

2. Pakistan Engineering Council Active Registration in Mandatory

3. Fresh Graduate or 1 Year of Experience in Sales (Preferably in EPC Solar)

4. Hands on Experience of Sketchup/Helioscope/PVSyst

5. Should be based in Lahore

6. Valid Driving License is Mandatory

7. Should have personal conveyance (Bile/Car)

Salary:

probation period for candidates with 1 year experience in solar sales.

 20% salary increment on successful confirmation after probation period.

 1% commission on confirmed sales/orders (subject to assigned sales target).
