We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Finance to lead financial planning, reporting, and analysis across a high-growth, remote-first organization. This role will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to drive financial strategy, operational efficiency, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all financial functions, including FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Develop financial models and KPIs that support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with department leaders to evaluate growth initiatives, cost control, and ROI.
- Oversee accounting operations and ensure GAAP compliance and financial integrity.
- Own investor reporting and board-level financial presentations.
- Manage cash flow, capital planning, and scenario modeling.
- Drive process improvement across finance systems, controls, and reporting workflows.
- Lead due diligence and integration efforts for M&A opportunities (if applicable).
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team aligned with the company’s stage and scale.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a VP or similar role.
- Proven success in high-growth, private equity-backed or venture-backed environments.
- Strong command of financial strategy, modeling, and data analysis.
- Deep understanding of SaaS, subscription, or services-based business models (preferred).
- Experience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Adaptive Insights).
- CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a roll-up-your-sleeves approach.
Compensation:
- Base salary: ~$200,000–$220,000
- Bonus: 20–30% of base salary (~$40,000–$60,000)
- Equity: Additional annualized value of ~$30,000–$50,000 (subject to company valuation and vesting)
- Total target compensation: ~$250,000–$300,000
